RIS 11: Smart Communicative City Planning

RIS is a fruitful combination of deep academic research and innovations and a more practical approach to development of cities and companies. Integration or even co-living of these two visions is not an easy task, which is why we are rehearsing, elaborating and practising it in a series of seminars
RIS 11: Smart Communicative City Planning

Time & Location

02 Feb, 10:00 – 11:40 EET

About the event

The GreenTwins project contributes to the development of participatory urban planning. New opportunities for better citizen engagement are created as part of the technological development of smart cities. The webinar continues the previous RIS webinar in November where GreenTwins technological solutions (i.e. visualization tool Urban Tempo, co-planning application Virtual Green Planner and dynamic plant library) were presented. In this webinar, we will focus on the practice of communicative planning and the usefulness of new tools. Additionally, some new methods and concepts will be discussed, for example PPGIS (public participation geographic information system) and Tallinn CityHUB.
